Did you know that DENTOPHOBIA is the official name for a fear of the dentist or dental work?

There are many possible reasons that someone could feel this way, but thankfully there are some great natural options to soothe those occasional anxious emotions.

One of the easiest ways to use Essential Oils to support a calm emotional state is by diffusing them or even just inhaling them. If your dental office does not use a diffuser ask your dental professional for a piece of gauze, drop one to three drops of the Essential Oil of your choice onto the gauze, then rest it near your head. Some Essential Oils to consider for this purpose include:

• Grounding Blend

• Lavender

• Clary Sage

• Reassuring Blend

• Cedarwood

• Ylang Ylang

• Restful Blend

If using the Essential Oils aromatically is not a viable option, you can still soothe your emotions by using them topically. Apply to the wrist pulse points, behind the ears, on the back of the neck, or over the heart. The oils listed above are good for this purpose, as are these:

• Restful Blend Pre-Diluted Roller

• Magnolia Pre-Diluted Roller

• Neroli

• Rose

• Jasmine

• Copaiba

• Frankincense
